7:45 pm 12 Tibetans Class (All Levels) with Elaine
7:45 pm Prenatal Yoga with Anna Call to register! (class will start when a minimum of 4 students have pre-registered) Class will be divided into two 6 week prepaid series.
Designed for those with limited mobility, strength and/or flexibility. Learn proper alignment, breath awareness, increase joint mobility, and relaxation.
A "Beginners Class" for those wishing to learn or reinforce the basic postures (asanas), breathing (pranayama), and relaxation.
For those familiar with the basics, this class offers a more vigorous approach, more challenging postures, and a chance to deepen your practice. Includes posture flow.
Janice leads a practice based on where the class is at the moment, opening with a meditation and root chakra work, then moving through sequences that focus on the area of work most present for the group. The intention of each session is one of peace, enhanced energy, and a greater appreciation for the innate wisdom and energy we hold within us.
This level 1 class will teach and reinforce basic yoga postures (asanas) which gently stretch, strengthen, and align the body, with emphasis on core strengthening. Breathing and relaxation will help students manage stress and calm body and mind.
All levels. A hearing heart listens to the wisdom of the body and presents it to our consciousness, creating a path to the all-knowing place within each of us. Universal Principles of Alignment, as found in Anusara yoga, support a growing anatomical awareness, which provides a safe place for growth and a therapeutic effect for body and mind.
A levels 1 and 2 class for active postmenopausal women featuring postures promoting increased muscle strength, bone density, mood and hormonal stability, uterine and bladder health.
Gentle and restorative postures for those experiencing chronic back pain, sciatica, postural misalignment. Breath and movement join to improve circulation to painful areas, strengthen core muscles supporting the spine, release tightness that adds to nerve pain and muscle spasm.
Anna teaches poses designed to safely strengthen and open the body in a manner that is most supportive of an expectant mother and baby. Classes focus on mental and emotional aspects of pregnancy as well, encouraging students to grow more comfortable with their intuition, gain more confidence in their abilities, and bond with their babies in utero.
Elaine has taken the legendary Five Tibetans (or "Fountain of Youth Exercises") and added 7 more movements for an hour-long core-strengthening, weight-bearing, overall toning sequence that will help you start your week feeling centered, relaxed and energized. $10 to drop-in.

Class Cards can be purchased at any time, good for any class with any teacher, must be used within 90-days of your first class. Checks are payable to "Wellspring Center" or use your Visa or MasterCard. Classes with inadequate registration are subject to cancellation.
